During the summer of 2009, Peter’s new trio, Tidsmaskinen (The time Machine), made their jump start debut with a US east coast tour that included the Scandinavian Folk Festival in Jamestown, NY. Besides Peter, the trio consists of Perry Stenbäck, one of Denmark’s best known and respected guitar players who also plays mandolin and dobro, and Steffan Søgaard Sørensen, who is in constant demand at home in Denmark for his musical prowess on bouble-bass, fiddle, and keyboard. Many appearances have followed Tidsmaskinen’s initial tour with an especially notable success at Denmark’s “Musik øver Prästø Fjord.” The trio has been dubbed a “Swedish-Danish folk music super group.” Material for a CD has been recorded and a summer 2010 release is anticipated.
