Volume One, ”(the “green” volume)”, of Peter Puma Hedlund’s Nyckelharpa Workshop came out in 2000. An interactive DVD covering everything from tuning and holding a nyckelharpa to twelve lesson tunes with increasing degree of difficulty. This volume is not just for beginners, seasoned players can benefit also from the material, for example, Eric Sahlström’s classic 16th note polska “Hardrevet” is one of the lessons.

Volume Two, ”(the “red” volume)”, came out during the summer of 2002. It is a continuation of “the green volume” with tunes and lessons for the player who wants to further and deepen his or her development as a player.

Volume Three ”(the “black” volume)”, is for advanced players. It naturally builds on the previous volumes and contains twelve lesson tunes which are generally considered among the more challenging tunes. The advanced player who skips the first two volumes will find plenty to work with on this DVD.
